The Axiom 600 is the next in the series of application-aware storage systems from Pillar and provides a storage platform for virtual infrastructure projects, IT data center consolidation projects, Oracle deployments, etc. With Axiom, end users can dynamically adjust performance for those applications that require it.

The vendor states that the Axiom 600 represents a two-fold increase in the Axiom platform's ability to consolidate applications onto a single storage platform.

Key features of Axiom include:
