Zero Assumption Recovery (ZAR) is a read-only data recovery utility that can recover all files, including those with long names or files containing non-Latin characters (e.g. French). Native NTFS compression is supported as well.
Working from within Windows 2000, XP or 2003, ZAR can recover FAT and NTFS volumes, including those located on a hardware RAID 0 or RAID 5. ZAR includes a digital image retrieval feature and an automatic scan for partitioning information.
