The Apani Networks family of VPN clients are designed to run on multiple operating systems, providing the end user with the ability to connect securely to the corporate VPN gateway from a variety of end points. Though available for multiple platforms, the vendor notes that the clients share a common look and feel. Clients are available for Windows Mobile 2003, Linux, HP-UX, Solaris, and Mac platforms; with most clients designed to be used in combination with Nortel VPN Routers. The lone current exception: The Mac OS client is designed for use with the Cisco 3000 Concentrator. The Solaris, Linux, and HP-UX clients each require a Web browser to be installed on the host machine (Netscape is supported).
