Zvetco Biometrics (Zvetco LLC) offers a line of biometric identification products based on fingerprint scanning. The product line consists of both individual scanning devices and Windows ID management software that provides such capabilities as Windows logon, Web-site Single Sign On, disk file encrytion, and more via fingerprint recognition. The devices and software are available separately, or in bundled offerings.

The devices include fingerprint scanning technology from AuthenTec, featuring that vendor's "True Print" technology that seeks to capture not just the surface characteristics of a fingerprint, but the underlying (beneath the skin) structure as well. Each of the devices interfaces with the computer using a USB interface.

Currently available devices include:

- P3400: An external pod with an integrated USB cable, based on AuthenTec's AES3400 sensor. The P3400 is now also available in a waterproof version (P3400 WP) targeted to harsh environments such as health or food service; the vendor notes that as a result of their waterproofing technique the device can "...literally be submerged in water without damage."

- P4000: Also an external pod, with a detachable USB cable and based on AuthenTec's AES400 sensor. The P4000 includes the vendor's 'RUN' technology, a built-in, transparent error-handling layer that automatically detects and corrects PC/USB instabilities. The P4000 is also served (separately) in a waterproof version.

- K4000: A keyboard version of the P4000; with the fingerprint sensor (AES4000) built into the keyboard. The keyboard attaches to the PC via USB and itself includes a separate USB port for attachment of another USB device.

On the software side, the vendor offers their Verifi Identity Manager software (Windows 2000/XP), which provides fingerprint-based identification capabilities for Windows machines including Windows Logon, Web site single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, file encryption, application launch protection, and E-wallet functions for the storage and retrieval of e-commerce form data. Verifi ID Manager software is available separately, or coupled with devices in packages the vendor calls "Fingertouch Security." Such bundles are available for both the P3400 and the P4000; and "Plus" versions are also offered which include an Aladdin eToken.

The Zvetco Verifi product line is available now. Pricing, as listed on the vendor's site, ranges from $89 to $144; the Verifi ID Manager software is listed at $50. Fingertouch Security bundles range in price from $99 to $159.
