Griaule Biometrics offers a line of multiple products focused on biometric authentication; primarily fingerprint-based authentication (though a facial-recognition SDK is also offered). The product line is roughly divided into two camps: Ready-made applications for deploying on existing systems to enable fingerprint-based authentication; and SDKs for developers enabling them to add biometric authentication to their own custom applications.

With Desktop Identity, the user authenticates themselves to the utility by touching a fingerprint scanner (see the SDK for supported scanners). The utility then recalls the user's registered identify information and can automatically submit that information to the foreground application's forms (as if the user typed it themselves). - GrFinger Desktop Login: Integrates with the Windows (2000/XP/2003) login process, enabling users to authenticate to Windows using their fingerprints. Combined fingerprint and password authentications are also supported, as are fingerprint or password configurations (the user can authenticate with their fingerprint or their password). - Biometric Network Logon: New to the product line. Allows users to authenticate to Active Directory based Windows networks. User groups can be configured to require username plus fingerprint, fingerprint only, or username plus fingerprint plus password authentications, with the default reverting to username plus password for those not assigned. The client works with both network and local users/groups; enabling authentication in stand alone computers, as well. Biometric Network Logon contains several components, including the Logon Client (Windows XP/2000), Logon Admin (Windows XP/2000 Pro/2000 Server/2003), and Logon Server (Windows 2003). - GrFinger Biometric SDK: Now offered in both Java and Windows (DLL or ActiveX; support for Delphi, Visual Basic, C++, .NET, FoxPro, and others) flavors. Features include driver-less support for MS fingerprint reader and Digital Persona; samples in multiple programming languages; unlimited one-to-many identification; support for matching speeds of up to 35,000 fingerprints per second; and support for multiple reader/scanners, including MS Fingerprint Reader, Digtal Persona, SecuGen Hamster, Geomok (Testech) and Crossmatch. Other products offered by the vendor include an AFIS SDK for large scale identification with AFIS technology; a WSQ SDK WSQ for adding compression, decompression and fingerprint image exchange capabilities into AFIS systems; a facial image recognition SDK; and REX2006, a device for biometric access control and time and attendance capture.
