Frontline 3.0

Vulnerability Assessment Service

Digital Defense's flagship offering, Frontline, is a subscription-based vulnerability management service that provides executives with the tools to understand the security holes on their networks and manage their IT risk.

Key Frontline Features:

- External vulnerability assessments that scan all Internet-facing assets including routers, firewalls, E-mail servers, and Web servers

- Internal vulnerability assessments that measure the network health of all internal assets including workstations, internal Web servers, accounting and E-mail servers and other assets that could pose a security risk

- Automated, regularly scheduled and non-disruptive assessments that are carried out remotely.

- Vulnerability assessment and penetration testing results integrated into a common interface

- A workflow tool, known as Active View, that enables enterprises to maintain a current view of their network assets and associated vulnerabilities on an ongoing basis via a reconciliation utility. In addition, the Active View allows for the enterprise to manage the remediation of vulnerabilities found through supervisor-directed IT resource assignments, searching and sorting capabilities and historical trend reporting.

- Executive reports that provide a high-level view of the enterprise's network security posture through the use of graphs and descriptions of vulnerabilities that have been found

- Technical reports that provide detail on all vulnerabilities found including a detailed description of the vulnerabilities, assets affected, remediation action that needs to be taken, and supervisory notes at a host and vulnerability level that are signed and time stamped by the system further clarifying special conditions surrounding the presence of vulnerabilities and/or specific action that has been taken.
